Mina EskaroosB.A., M.A., J.D.

Mina Eskaroos (he/him) is an associate lawyer at Landings LLP. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Bora Laskin Faculty of Law at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario, where he received course prizes for the highest grades in both employment and evidence law.

Before joining Landings, Mina gained significant experience working as a coordinator and caseworker at the only immigration clinic in Northern Ontario, where he primarily managed cases involving persecution. He has also worked at his law school’s community legal clinic and served as an editor for the Lakehead Law Journal.

Mina’s legal background is complemented by a Master of Arts in Criminology from Toronto Metropolitan University, and a double Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Political Science from Ontario Tech University. During his studies, Mina conducted research on migrant participation in community development projects, presenting his findings to both local community groups and government bodies. Mina’s experience also includes working as a policy advisor assistant for the Town of Ajax.

Mina is committed to advocating for the rights of his clients throughout their immigration journeys, providing dedicated and empathetic support at every step.
